Currently 13 oz. infant formula is produced in liquid form in two facilities, the Evansville Supply Center and a third party manufacturer. Starting in _____ all 13 oz. concentrate liquid, along with existing 32 oz. ready-to-use liquid will be produced in the Evansville Supply Center. The current manufacturing plan is to utilize two separate packaging lines, 13 oz. and 32 oz. These two packaging lines are staffed separately and utilize two different work schedules. This feasibility study will examine the benefits of using a cross-trained, flexible staff to run either packaging tine as the market demands require. This reallocation of manufacturing resources will provide economies of scale resulting in a net savings of $_____.
