dc.description.abstractThere has been an ongoing emphasis on utilizing standards and assessments to dictate college readiness. The purpose of this study is to explore some of the different variables that influence college success from GPA. The study seeks to answer the research question, Does high school GPA accurately measure student achievement based off college graduation rates? The goal is to analyze the demographics of high school graduates and determine whether there is an influence on GPA and college graduates.
