Live Inventory Tracking and Implementation of the Batching Management Tool

Abstract

This project is being performed and endorsed by myself and AmeriQual Group. It focuses on the implementation of a tool that improves traceability within the warehouse, implementing new training methods on the plant floor, focuses on communication throughout different departments within the plant, and familiarizing employees with new processes and teaching improvement techniques. The end goal is to improve employee morale and interest in overall improvement activities. We hope to show a decrease in overhead for materials and an increase in efficiency. Every part of the process is detailed below with diagrams for further understanding of each concept. The entire plant is affected by the accuracy of inventory in the warehouse. This project was high priority and as it continues to succeed it will spread to multiple different AmeriQual locations including AmeriQual Packaging and Thermopac located in the Atlanta Georgia area.
